Converting a CSV, a spreadsheet or an OFX-family file costs us nothing to run, because it happens on your machine and never reaches us. That tier has no limit, no account and no card. Reading a statement PDF is the one thing that costs something, so it is the one thing metered.

100 extra pages for $15, on any paid plan. For a month that runs over. Your monthly pages are used first, and these never expire. Tax season is four months of volume and eight of quiet for most of this audience, and holding a larger subscription through the summer to survive one spring is a bad trade.
Pages of a statement PDF, not conversions. A twelve-page statement takes twelve times the reading of a one-page one, so charging per conversion would overprice the small job and give the large one away. The page count is shown with every result.
Nothing else counts against anything. Every other format is read in your browser and never reaches a server, so there is no cost to recover and no number to track.
You are never shown a result and then charged to see it. If a conversion would take you past your allowance, you are told before it runs, not after.
Worth saying plainly, because the rest of this site makes a point of holding nothing. Without an account there is no cookie, no record and nothing to look you up by, and that stays true however much you convert.
An account changes that: an email address, a session cookie, a count of the pages you have used, and a subscription held by Stripe. The statements you upload are still never stored. That part does not change, on any plan. But the account itself is a record where previously there was none, and a paid plan can switch on saved history, which keeps the files your conversions produce for a window you choose. The privacy page says exactly what is kept and for how long.
