Banks that publish a statement file
These are listed for Web Connect, so a .qbo download exists and the institution carries an identifier a converted file can name. Pages here write that real identifier rather than a placeholder.
Banks that export CSV only
These are listed for Express Web Connect, where Intuit makes the connection itself and no statement file exists at any point. There is nothing to download and no identifier to name, so converting the CSV export is the only file route. The output is written without an institution tag rather than borrowing someone else’s.
